We’ve got a few activities planned out for your entertainment:

-As part of the IndieGogo fundraiser we held this past summer, Ms. Vladka Suzuki has won the bid to style our bassist Jérémi Roy’s hair/head/face. She’s decided to make him look exactly like Edward the Vampire from Twilight. We’ll be styling him on stage, in front of you, before the music starts.

-Briga will be streaming the event live on justin.tv. For you lazy asses who just can’t seem to get outta the house, are stuck at work, or those of you who are international fans and can’t make it, click here: www.justin.tv/brigamusic

-The first 20 people through the door get the new CD for $10 instead of 15

-We’ll be thanking all the fans that helped us out in our IndieGogo fundraising challenge last summer… with only the best cupcakes to be found in Montréal from the new cake boutique D’Liche

At 7pm, the show’s over and we invite you to come join us at Divan Orange, where we’ll be celebrating our good friends Gadji-Gadjo’ CD release party as well. They’ll be holding the party all night long, so come join in the festivities ’till the wee hours!

Briga hits Ontario, Canada

What does it look like when Briga & the Band hits the road in the provice of Québec? Well… kinda like the pic you see above.

Now imagine them heading out to the province of Ontario. Pretty much the same idea, only this time Alix (dude to the left w/sunglasses) won’t be able “borrow” this blue minivan from another Montréal band and shamelessly put 800km on it like last time.

Nope, Briga & the Band will be repenting for their bad behaviour, honoring the environment, and taking advantage of Megabus’ seat sale to come out and play Toronto Thursday, October 13th…

…And after that, Briga and the Band are off to the OCFF Showcase at Niagara, ON from October 14th – 16th. The new album Turbo Folk Stories will be tested there… only as a teaser since it won’t be officially released until the Spring of 2012. Stay tuned for album release and tour dates!

Briga & the Band don’t know when they’ll be able to come out to Ontario again… in this industry you live every day like it’s your last. Hope to see y’all there, and for those of you who are in Niagara,
